THE Calcutta medical college batch of 2000 or the millennial batch is unique in many ways.
Hi there! I’m Dr.Amrita Basu and I was told to get this going.But there are atleast ten more people behind getting this rolling.No.1 is my husband a.ka Dr.Abhijit Misra ,Dr.Pritam Roy who managed to make dozens of phone calls in the middle of his very busy schedule and Dr.Amrita Mandal who very patiently photographed each page of out Image Yearbook and checked to see if we had missed anyone.Thank you friends ,it’s impossible to do something like this alone.
For the 25 years Silver Jubilee Batch Reunion we thought of compiling a list of all our batch mates with their current job description ,experiences,dreams visions as a way for PEER verification,record keeping as well as improving trust of patients,authorities and society at large in our batch alumni,in this world of quacks and fakes.
But as doctors they are super busy and upto the reunion only a few may actually end up sending their updated CV.
Then the brainstorming team had a brilliant idea of uploading our post internship completion Year book with all alumni of batch 2000 year as content on the website .This serves two purpose.
No.1 It’s our batch Directory from the year 2000.
No.2 It’s a memory bank.
